The Value of History!I have been there and done that! I have received the merit badges. The truth is that I have experienced all of the previous statements! However, I cannot show you how this is done because all markets change. History is history. The only thing I can do is tell you my story. Also, you cannot jump into my skin and do what I do. What I found to be true is that there are several constants with necessary adjustments. Experience is a Great Thing…My grandfather used to have a framed cross stitch hanging on the wall that read “We get too soon old and too late smart.” When I was young, I thought that was interesting. Now that I am over 60, I think it is profound. I want to be clear. Even though there was a considerable waste of time and money, I did not come away empty handed. As in life, there were clearly some seminars, some books, and some coaching that was much better than others. The Difference Between Activity and Achievement!My desire is to distill my 15 years of experience into something that will profit hundreds if not thousands. I want to make it affordable to the masses. I want those that are hesitant because of the cost to at least have a shot at being in the investments game…without killing the family savings account or the children’s college fund. I have found that reading books and going to seminars only goes so far. One must take action! The great news today is that it is possible to literally try before you buy. I also found that once the book was read or the seminar was finished…I was having trouble implementing the suggestions. I Wanted to Talk Directly with the Speaker!That was virtually impossible! I did attend one seminar and had the privilege of attending again for free. It was great! However, it was rather costly and every time I attended….I had to travel, stay in a hotel, and be away from work and family. Thanks to today’s technology, many of these drawbacks have been eliminated!
